BitGo Unveils a Platform for Retail Clients

BitGo, a provider of digital asset infrastructure, has recently launched a specific platform for retail clients, offering access to a range of services such as regulated digital asset trading, staking, lending, wallet storage, and cold and self-storage custody.

The company, founded in 2013, has primarily catered to institutional clients, providing services such as custody, trading, and settlement. It is also involved in the process of facilitating client repayments from the now-defunct Mt. Gox exchange, and is a custodian for several prominent crypto assets, including the largest Ethereum-based wrapped bitcoin asset, WBTC.

With this new retail solution, BitGo aims to extend its services to retail investors and provide them with the same level of institutional-grade security, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

According to BitGo CEO Mike Belshe, the company is excited to offer its white-glove, crypto-native solutions to retail investors and serve as their trusted partner in enhancing their investing, trading, storage, and staking experience in the crypto space.
