
US-based blockchain analytics startup Amberdata has just raised $30M in a Series B funding round led by Knollwood Investment Advisory.
Susquehanna International Group, Nasdaq Ventures, NAB Ventures, Chicago Trading Company, Nexo, Coinbase and Innovius have participated in the fundraising.
The startup‘s current investors, Citigroup, Franklin Templeton, Aspenwood Ventures, Rovida Kruptos Assets and Boldstart Ventures, have increased their existing investment.
Amberdata provides “comprehensive data and information about blockchain networks, crypto markets and the DeFi sector” financial institutions that are part of the digital asset class. Clients use the information for research, trading, risk assessment, analytics, reporting, and compliance purposes.
Sean Douglas, CEO of Amberdata, has said:
“The rate of institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies is truly amazing. In the first quarter, our revenues doubled as the world’s largest financial institutions came to us for mission-critical data.”
