NFT marketplace OpenSea has recently announced it has added support for Solana-based NFTs:
“Solana is officially on OpenSea – starting today, with our initial beta!”
At the end of last month, the team promised to start the process with Nyan Heroes and Turtles.
At the moment, OpenSea supports 865,000 tokens from 165 NFT collections. Among them are Solana Monkey Business, DeGods, Degenerate Ape Academy, Aurory, and Shadowy Super Coder.
The marketplace claims that Solana’s low fees and high transaction speed lowered the threshold for accessing NFTs.
Unlike competitors Magic Eden and FTX NFT, OpenSea allows users to store tokens in their own wallet.
